Bauer's Supreme 1S chest protector used its unique construction and the cutting edge materials that Bauer offers to create a chest that has now become a staple of their chest protector line. New for 2018, continuing on the legacy of the 1S Pro chest protector is the Bauer 2S Pro senior goalie chest protector.

The Supreme 2S Pro SR chest protector continues to add improved materials to the familiar 1S Pro shape. The greatest improvement in the material is called Powerlite. This new material is a mix of EPP foam and curve composite that allows for even greater impact resistance, in a much lighter and denser when compared to HD foams. Powerlite is featured in both the shoulder floaters and as well as the bicep which are two of the highest impact zones on the chest protector. The 2S Pro sr chest protector also features the two piece chest/stomach protection from the 1S that provided great impact resistance with the use of the airspace between the two layers.

The entirety of the chest also features Bauer's 37.5 moisture wicking material to help the chest dry out much quicker and keep up to the rigorous schedule of the elite goaltender. The Bauer 2S Pro chest & arm also features sanitized technology which is an odor-resistant treatment to ensure that when the chest does get wet it fights bacterial and fungal growth, and in turn the smell that comes along with that.

For 2018 Bauer has improved on the already great 1S Pro chest protector with key material changes that add to the formula for a great chest off the wall.
